Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to recently learn about Ed's passing when I returned to school this semester. Ed was brilliant, and animated when he taught; I talked about him all Christmas break. I had so much fun in that 8am class I forgot to study! From his stories about leaving hot cups of coffee to make coworkers think he was around, to motorcycling around Japan, every story was huge fun to listen to. I'll never forgot that class.

Ed was the Faculty adviser for Alpha Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Northeastern University. He was responsible for providing guidance to the active brotherhood, interlocking with the faculty and administration, and sat on our Board of Trustees. He brought humor and expertise to his role and was enormously generous with his time. He appreciate everything he gave to us, and will miss him dearly.

Mary A and family, words cannot express how sorry we are to hear of Ed's recent and untimely death. I have wonderful memories of all of us at birthday parties when all the kids were young at Paul and Rosemary's house. We are praying for you and your beautiful family. Sincerely Bill and Beth Mullan Martellotta

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my favorite and most influential professor, Ed Dinan. Professor Dinan was a deeply enthusiastic, kind and caring individual. He not only left a positive impact on my life and inspired a career in business, but also touched the lives of so many in the Northeastern community. My sincerest sympathies go out to all of his family and friends. Professor Dinan- I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for me. You will be missed.

I'm deeply saddened to hear the passing of Professor Dinan and would like to send out my thoughts and prayers to his family. Professor Dinan is a decent man with a great sense of humor. He was always committed to helping all students to be successful. I was honored to be a student in Professor Dinan's class in 2014 and still remember vividly that Professor Dinan spoke to me during an one-hour call on a Saturday afternoon to help me with questions and concerns before the final exam. May god...

Professor Dinan was the greatest professor I've had. His energy and passion for life was inspiring to myself and countless others. Thank you so much.

Edward is such a great professor. I am so sorry for the loss of your family. And thank you for your help during my college time.

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Please find peace and comfort in Psalms 119:76.

I knew Ed at Holy Cross and enjoyed his company. He was a great guy! I only wish we had connected during our post Holy Cross days as we had a number of things in common (Navy, working with Economics and Accounting, Teaching, etc.). My condolences to everyone in his family and to his many closer friends.
