Ed was the best ever. A great teacher, I learned so much officiating football with Ed. I also had the privilege of working with Ed on the Cleveland Browns chain crew. You will always be remembered as the best of the best. May you RIP. Hope you took your whistle with you to heaven.

To Patty, Lee, Dale, Linda, Judy and Faith,
I am truly saddened to hear about the passing of your wonderful father, and husband!
While its been many years, I will always remember the fun I experienced being around this man, and the many smiles and laughter he brought my way while I was able to be around him!
My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time, and I know he will be watching down on all of you from that great arena above where everyone wins!

Our deepest sympathy to the Dohanos family. We met Ed at Susan and Dale's wedding and he was certainly a character. Would love to have been closer. We always heard wonderful things about Ed and felt a small part of his life. Praying for peace to all that will miss his smiling face.

Our prayers go out to Faith and Family for their loss of such a great man.
We've enjoyed living next to "Ed and Faith" for about 30 years.
You don't live next to someone for that long and not get a real down to earth relationship and knowledge of an individual/couple. Thoughts of this man will be with us forever. I can't imagine waking up and not seeing him in the yard doing something.
Getting that wave across the yard or a 5 minute conversation at the fence topped off with a...

Please accept our dearest condolences Faith. We had so many great times together on the football field and because of you, my friend, that I became the official that you wanted. Thanks for the service you gave to this country. May you rest in peace and enjoy that great game in Heaven.

Please accept our sincere condolences. Ed was a special guy. He was the one who helped me get started as a track official. He took me under his wing and helped me a lot. We had great conversations about track and life in general. He also had a great sense of humor with jokes before track meets to get us all to relax and enjoy our experience. He was very compassionate and kind. His family is in our thoughts and prayers.
