Not sure what to say?

We started together at IRS on July 5, 1972. I remember waiving from the pool of the Townhouse Motel in Van Nuys when Ed got the word that Ryan was born. It was during our first training phase for IRS. When I purchased my VW Ed and I shared a desk. In classical "Ed Style" he asked to borrow the keys and of course I knew about Gretchen (his VW) so I gave him the keys and told him to drive it. He said, "No, I just want to use the keys to give your new car it's first paint scratch so that will be...

Ed was wonderful person and gave us all a great example on how to live life well. My condolences Nancy. We still miss seeing you and Ed dancing.

I worked with Ed for many years at the IRS. We were field revenue officers and we drove our cars to our many "field calls". He was the only person I have met that had a car that had woman's first name. Gretchen was the name of his car and it was one of those Volkswagen beetles from the mid 60s. It was a practical car for a practical person.

Uncle Eddie will always be an enduring legacy in my heart. Always there to listen to me, give me guidance, and make me laugh, my uncle was simply the best role model a nephew could have. I won the Uncle lottery and I wouldn't be the person I am today without Uncle Eddie in my life. I will miss him and I think of him every day especially when life gets chaotic. He was a gift to me and also to all of humanity.

I was sad to hear of Ed's passing. Ed and I became good friends and shared a lot. We had December birthdays and always called each other. My daughter, Nikkina and Ed's daughter, Karen played sports together. We attended many of their events. He was one of a kind, always there for you. I will really miss him.

I spent many years working with Ed at the IRS. Always one of my favorite people! He will surely be missed by so many. God bless and hold his family and friends during this time.

Ed was a wonderful friend. I will miss our conversations and his great sense of humor.

He will be truly missed!
