Not sure what to say?

We were fortunate to have Ed as a friend and neighbor in Stroudwater and were so saddened to hear of his passing. Ed was a true character and will be deeply missed. His funny, generous, dog-loving spirit remains in our hearts. Sincere condolences to all those grieving his loss.

Ed recruited me to BNDD when I left active duty with the Marine Corps. He was a great guy, always will remember that smiling face. Hope to see him again some day up there.
Semper Fi Ed.

A pleasure to have known and worked with Unit 1A..

I remember the very handsome Eddie with Jan at our wedding. His big smile and sense of humor was a great presence. Eddie later attended my daughter’s wedding with his wife at that time, Janice. He made up some tall stories about being a spy and the next day a good friend of mine called to share the stories that she totally believed. Yes he was a prankster and lovable guy.

He had a smile that let you know he'd be happy to join you in a little mischief. He touched my heart, and I'm grateful.

My heartfelt condolences to Ed's family--they all meant the world to him. And, in his need they were standing watch over him night and day. I lived just down the hall from him, so we had a chance to chat often or have dinner together which turned out to be more of a happening rather than a fine dining experience. When Ed was in the dining room everyone was aware of his presence by his resounding voice and laughter. He was knowledgeable, witty and charming; and admired by men as well as...

Ed was one of a kind! He definitely marched to his own drummer. My family and I always enjoyed our frequent encounters with Ed on Great Diamond Island. Our sincerest sympathies to Ed's family.

Ed was a great guy

Dear Family,
My sincere condolences to all of you. I know the love you have for Ed will always be in your hearts and you will always have your memories. "Love never dies." Personally, I, too, will remember his smile. God Bless, Paula
