Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to hear of Ed's passing, he was instrumental in my life, my most valued mentor. I often recall our time working together, will miss our conversations and will remember him always as a true friend.

With regrets.

I just heard about Ed's passing and please accept my belated condolences.
Ed was a "driving force", a legend in the tool and die industry in Tri-state area for sure. I am probably the only one in the EDM/Press industry who did not work for Ed but he was always nice to me since I met him in 1981. He had offered me a job many times. He was a character and a major player for many years and made me a better salesman to compete.
In fondness memory,
Ken Otzel

Dear Pat,

I was saddened to hear of Ed's death. Like everything Ed did, he battled his illness with determination and class. I'm sorry I was unable personally to express my condolences to you. Gail shared her conversation with you. It brought back very fond memories of working with Ed on Allendale Rec matters, meetings in your dining room, poolside get togethers with the boys and Eli and George, and list went on and on. As you know, better than anyone else, Ed was a true gentleman...

My sincere sympathy goes out to Patricia, Chris and especially to Kevin. I truly regret that Ellie and George were not here to comfort you at this time. I felt like I knew you all, after spending so much time with Ed and the Smith's at Kurth Cottage over lunch. May the Lord bless you and keep you close to His heart during your bereavement.

I wish to express my deepest sympathy to all of you upon hearing of ED"S death. we shared many good times when he came to Marland Mold in pittsfield.I am proud to have been one of his many friend's God bless. He was a "CLASS ACT"
