Not sure what to say?

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Hey Durree kids. I think of your dad often. What a great guy! I will never forget our Champaign trip!

Still can’t believe he’s gone. Wish I would’ve known he was fighting cancer. He was my friend.

Four years later I still cant believe hes gone. He was my client and my friend. I think of him often. I pray that all is well with his children. He adored them both.

Ed was practical and easy to have a legal matter with. He always respected his opponent's client and tried to see their point of view. A real class attorney.

Ben I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you in this sad time. There is nothing to say to make it easier. May he Rest in Peace
With much love ❤

Sara and Ben, I was saddened to learn of your dad's passing. If not for you, Sara, I would not even have known your dad. He and I shared intensity and passion on at least two things: his kids' success and the Illini. In fact, we spent one cold, windy January afternoon on Main Street as we froze discussing just those two topics. And who could forget the van ride to Champaign for Illini basketball, pre-game at Legends, and Ben's Bucknell t-shirt, As you know, he wanted nothing but the best for...

My sympathies to Ed's family, especially his children. He adored you both and you brought so much joy to his life. Your Father was a talented and respected lawyer with a great sense of humor. He was beloved by many. The thoughts and prayers of many are with you. Diana Jagiella Thorbjornsen

Sarah & Ben, my sympathies & prayers go out to you both in this time of sorrow but know your Dad would want you to celebrate his life and remember all the wonderful times you shared together.
From playing tennis with your Dad down the street or talking Iilini sports he was always very intense but when it came to the two of you he would just beam with pride & love!!
Live your lives to the fullest .
