EDWARD E. McCAFFERY, age 75, retired Captain, City of Cleveland, Division of Police, beloved husband of the late Dianne L. (nee Spag); loving father of Kristen Brinker (Brian) and Manus McCaffery; proud "Poppa" of Kelsie, Manny, Casey, Jamie, Joey and Shannon. Passed away August 9, 2023. Funeral Mass Friday, August 18, Our Lady of Angels Church (3644 Rocky River Dr.) at 10 A.M. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. My heart goes out to Sandy and all of Ed's family and friends. We always enjoyed the great parties he loved to host, with the kids swimming in the pond and everyone enjoying such great hospitality. He had such a beautiful home and was so proud of his gorgeous landscaping. RIP friend.

My condolences to the Mccafferyfamily. Ed and I went to Immaculate Conception grad school. I was a yr ahead of him. I went to Benidictine and i believe he went to Latin.
