Not sure what to say?

I started my teaching career under Mr. Ecker back at D. A. Harman. I quickly realized how lucky I was. He was an inspiring leader and always supported me. His contributions to this world are immeasurable.

Mr. Ecker was a phenomenal educator. He taught his CBA students to think critically, inspiring many of us to pursue scientific careers. We all enjoyed his sense of humor - I´ll never forget him. My sincerest condolences to his precious loved ones.

My deepest condolences and God's peace to Mr Ecker's family. He was one of the best. Rest peacefully, Mr Ecker

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Ed was my next door neighbor growing up. Some of my most cherished memories from my childhood involve Ed and playing with his dogs. He always treated my family like his own whether it was sharing fresh vegetables from his garden, snowplowing our part of the driveway, or hunting down the pesky snakes in the backyard. Heaven gained an angel. May he Rest In Peace.

May he go with God and rest in peace . I hunted with him and his father , along with Archey , Pete and Bud . I still use a gun finish recipe that he gave me

Our hearts are heavy losing such a good educator, friend and mentor. He was an always will be a positive inspiration to us. We are sorry we are traveling and can no attend his service. Please know our prayers are with his family and friends. RIP Eck.

What a wonderful person; at WHHS, I remember him as our VP with Bob Ritz, now my stepdad. And I know how much Bob loved Eddie- their golf trips and years and years of working together. May he Rest In Peace and many thoughts and prayers for the family. Karen Huff

My husband, Jim, and I also remember Mr. Ecker as our V. P. at WHHS. Always respected him. His smile is as I remember. So sorry for your loss.

My husband and I both remember having Mr. Ecker as a vice principal at West Hazleton. He was a great guy. Joe and Rhonda Lescowitch
