Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the Mulkern family. I am deeply saddened at the loss of my longtime friend and mentor Eddie . I was honored to have spent many decades and through good times and bad Eddie was always there for me .He was a consummate gentlemen and family man . Mary , you were his universe and his children his world, his love for all of you was unconditional. Eddie was not only a tremendously knowledgeable Chelsea historian but an incredible source of U.S. history and World...

Eddie was a huge part of one of the great Chelsea families, the Mulkerns. Ed was simply someone you always looked forward to talking and laughing with, and left you feeling good. As really good friends to his late brothers John and David, and Trish, I got to see the family in their element on Kimball Road. Humble, kind and accepting were the attributes that come to mind. Eddie was a great example of the good that people can do. Volunteering as a mentor to the Post, and someone you could...

Sending my love and peace to the mulkern family. Eddie was a great part of my childhood as the father of a great friend. He was always goofy and loved his family.

So sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. I worked with him way back in the Sagamore Pharmacy days. He was always the nicest person. The last time I saw him was my Mom's funeral in 2019. Same old Eddie. Just a great person. So sad I will never run into him again. May he rest in peace. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Mary and Family, so very sorry to read about Eddies passing. I enjoyed talking to him on Facebook about trains. Thinking of you and your family. Neil

My condolences to the Mulkern family. I knew Eddie growing up in Chelsea. He was such a good guy. We hadn´t seen each other in years but did connect again via Facebook. I often use the expression, he was a real Chelsea guy. What I mean by that is he was a gentleman and he loved the City. Eddie was a Chelsea guy. May he Rest In Peace .

I am so sorry for you Eddie was a great guy and was a great friend to my husband Chester. May he Rest In Peace. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I am saddened to learn of Eddie's passing. We both worked in the Conversion group in the phone company during the 80s & 90s. He was one of the funniest guys I ever met, would always crack me up with his jokes and impressions. I still have a caricature sketch of some of our crew drawn by another guy in our crew where Eddie is the central character, tall & thin. He would often quote from 'Arthur ', one of his favorite movies. He was truly a nice person liked by all who knew him. I regret I'd...
