Edward "Owen" Elmer

I am saddened to hear of Owen's untimely departure, or even of the struggle that he had to endure with his health. I am glad to hear that he knew Jesus though. As I read his obituary here I remember the time in my poverty that he showed up at my house during the Christmas break and had bags of groceries that he was giving to me and my son. You know , I had forgotten about that until just now. It was a kind moment and he went out of his way to do it. He was happy to do it and you know one...

There are never words at a time like this, but sometimes it helps to know a loved one is remembered well. Owen and I went to Highlands High School. I was Student Council President, and served in the Navy as a pilot during two wars. When a loved one passes, it is good to know they are remembered well, like your Owen. He did things right.
