Knew Rick and his father in Akron. He was passionate and fair and a charismatic spokesman for the downtrodden. His life is a ever burning candle for peace.

Me, a Vietnam combat vet, and Rick, "the warrior whose strength is not to fight", but we became great friends, without a moment's hesitation, when I moved onto Rick's block in 1978. Well, there was that one time a few years later . . . but other than that . . . I'll miss you, Rick.
