I trained with Sensei Ed around 1972, when I was stationed at Kirtland A.F.B. He was a fine instructor, always patient and kind and willing to go the extra mile for his students. He allowed me to train young students at his second studio, can't recall the address but it was up in the Heights, not the Louisiana St. location. Sensei Erler, words can not express my gratitude for introducing me to strategy. You could of led me to any book in your store showing me techniques that would defend me, instead you introduced me to Sun Tzu, and Mushashi. I have and continue to study them and their to this day Sensei Erler. Thank you from a kid that you know, that you educated, and guided. You're in a better place, and I will see Sensei when it is my time to join you.
