Irene: My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Among my fondest memories are the annual Y-P game, especially the firehouse in Princeton. And, of course, eating dinner at your apartment in Peter Cooper, before eating a second dinner at home in Stuyvesant Town! I still think of Tim - he was taken too soon. With love, Edward Hammond

Ed Farley's care of his wife, Irene, made the biggest impression upon me, demonstrating the love and compassion of this fine gentleman. We often chatted at Lawrenceville home football games about events of the day. He was generous and supportive to many causes in our community. His life was well lived. He left me with many examples of how to be a good citizen and neighbor. God bless Ed Farley. He should be elevated to sainthood.
