Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to Ed's family, many friends and colleagues.

I worked with Ed almost twenty years ago in Texas and we stayed in touch over the years. Ed was so professional at work but he also had such a pleasant disposition, great sense of humor and so many outside interests (lead saxophone in the Rusty Steins for one). He was always able to get so much done and even when things got hectic his wry smile always served to lighten the mood.

On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans (USSVI), I offer our sincere condolences on Edward's passing. You and your loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers. We are forever grateful for Edward's service to our country in the U.S. Submarine Service. To our Brother of the Phin we say, Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch. May you rest in peace and may God bless your loved ones who remain. Thank you for your service to our country."
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you...

Smooth sailing, RIP

Ed, Sandy and Family...I'm so saddened to hear of Ed's passing! When I became acquainted with the family, he was already serving in the military...so I never really knew him very well. I did hear the family speak of him often, with admiration, pride and respect! From the few times I did meet him, he struck me as a person who was very proud of his country and happy to be serving. I thank him for his service!

May God be with you during this difficult time, and may you find comfort...
