Not sure what to say?

Mr Felegy was my principal for Yorktown Elementary School, Race Track Rd Bowie Md in the 1960s. He was the nicest man. Just a great guy. He caught me swinging on the flag pole several times and he said "Don't do that, it's dangerous." It was a huge flagpole on a hill which made awesome swinging! He was just a good soul. I've never forgotten him. That's why Im looking up his name today. Thanks Mr Felegy for not telling my parents about the flagpole. Good dude!

My sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Ed Felegy. He was a wise and honorable gentleman who said what he meant and meant what he said. I am grateful to have worked in his administration as Associate Superintendent of Human Resources. I am all the more blessed as a human being because God saw fit for our paths to cross in his lifetime. May you rest in peace.

I am honored to say I was able to work with Edward Felegy in the Prince George's County School Systerm. He will be remembered for his integrity, intelligence, deligence, caring, and friendship.

He asked me to teach at Yorktown Elementary School in Bowie Maryland when he was appointed as principal there. He encouraged me to apply for a principalship in PGCPS. Ed was very shy and I was priveleged to become his friend. He was a...

I remember Mr. Felegy as my kind principal at Yorktown Elementary School where 6 "Caro" children went through in the 60's. It just can't be that long. It is true that Mr. Felegy made the school song come true: "Our Yorktown School will live forever in our hearts and minds, as we go forth we'll long remember . . ." Thank you Mr. Felegy for your kindess. God bless you and rest in peace.

Mr. Felegy was a wonderful man. He was the principal of Yorktown Elementary when I attended there. My condolences on your loss and may the knowledge that he impacted so many children in a positive way be a comfort to you.

Mr. Felegy was my principal at Yorktown Elementary School. I have very fond memories of my time there and helping out there in the summer. We stayed in touch for a couple of years afterward. I will remember him as a good man, a gifted school administrator and a man who left a positive mark on this world in the lives he touched.
