Not sure what to say?

Ed was a great teacher.. very patient and caring.. I will never forget his dedication to teaching .. Rest In Peace

Ripley staff, year unknown

I hope this reaches Ed's family after 2 years, but I didn't realize he'd passed away. Ed was my 5th grade teacher at Ripley (in the 5/6th non-graded classroomaah, the 70s) along with Lois McCarthy and John Davidson. They were a fabulous team, and it was a memorable year. But mostly he was a great friend to my mom, Caroline Balcom, who worked at Ripley for over 30 years. The stories she would tell! They obviously had a ton a fun at work, thanks to Ed's great sense of humor. I find it ironic...

I worked with Ed for many years at Life Line. He was a great EMT and gave so much back to the community. Ed's loss is a loss to everyone. He lived his life, held his head high, and helped many folks along the way.

Very sorry for your loss mr. Ferguson was a great teacher. Ripley fourth grade student

Very sorry to about the passing of Mr. Ferguson. Prayers and blessings to his family and thank you.. Rebecca Crovello(Anderson) 4th grade Ripley student

I am very sorry to hear about the passing away of Ed Ferguson. I have many special memories of Ed after working with him at the Ripley School. Both staff and students looked up to Ed as one of the cornerstones of the school because of his good judgement and calm sensible manner. His sense of humor always stood out as he kept us laughing anytime there was an opportunity to poke fun at a situation. He had a story about his sister Karen and his two nephews, Kevin and Patrick, and his chaperone...

To Karen and all family members, we send our deepest regrets for the loss of Eddie.

My memories go way back of him through high school days, and his friendship with my own brother Carlton, and our family during all these years.

May all the wonderful memories you have of him comfort you in this time of sorrow.

With Sincere condolences, Pat
