I can not believe he is gone! I wake up feeling the world is missing a great man. I will always remember spending nights at the house and was always made to fill like more than just a niece but more like a daughter of his and my lil auntie. I woke up the morning of the funeral in tears strapped to a hospital bed knowing I couldnt be there and say my final good bye until it hit me I really wont say good bye forever if I live my life right I will see him again. To my lil auntie, Jossie, Montie...

I first could not believe that one of three of my dearest uncles was called home, but then I realized that Uncle Donell's job here on Earth was done. God called him to Home. Uncle Donell I know I speak for many when I say you will truly be missed. I will remember you when I drive down to Marshall. I would always call you and you would Ride down with me. I miss you! I love you. I will miss your gentle face, you calm voice. My uncle who always loved those peppers. Aunt Elaine,...

What I remember about Uncle Donell was that he use to make me laugh. He loved us all. My mom would take me over to aunt Elaine so she could watch
me so my mom could go to work. I use to see uncle Donell everyday. He loved Aunt Elaine, Demond, Josie everybody. I know we are going to be sad but he is in a better place. Thank you and I love you.

I am still in disbelief that he has left us. I will always have fond memories of my Uncle Donell. As a child I remember him being very stern, but loving, full of laughter and adventure. He was truly a great man of strength, courage and integrity. He has been a tremendous example to me in his role as a husband and father which was reflected in his commitment as he cared for his family. I was just recently married two years ago and we are expecting our first child very soon and I hope to be...

Dear Elaine and Family,
Although no words can really help
To ease the loss you bear
May you find comfort in God's love, peace in your memories.
