I worked for Ed for 3 years as a R.A and as Assistant Head Resident he was kind caring and a fun boss! I shall always remember him foundly.

I was his assistant head resident from 1983 and 1984 and he was a great boss and friend I shall never forget him or stop feeling gratitude for all his counsel and kindness to me! Gods Speed Boss Timothy Setters

I am so saddened to hear of Ed's death. In addition to enjoying his warm friendship while we shared time at Berea College, I have two other particular reasons to mourn his passing: He was especially close to Debbie and was a particularly close and supportive friend to her. She and I both appreciated his support and wise counsel. Secondly, my brother, Jim, also suffered and died from MS. Ed and Jim both both worked hard to continue enjoying life and to continue...

I did not know Mr. FitzGerald but wish I had. I will always remember this beautiful tribute. Wishing you comfort in memories and in the love of all who share your grief
