Not sure what to say?

I knew Eddie and Celia when he was in the Army in Maryland. I'm so sorry for your loss. I just found out about his death. My husband, George Redfield, died in 1968.

Eddie Fitz, and brother Frank, came into my life at the perfect time. Or maybe, to be more honest, I dropped into their lives at the most perfect time, (for me). They were given the task of training me to be a bartender, at the Keg Room. I had never been behind a bar before, so to say their task was daunting would be an understatement. As I look back on those ten years of being around these guys I can't help but appreciate all they taught me. Not just about the job, but about being a man....

Eddie was my postman when I worked in Springfield. He was also my server at The Keg. You couldn´t have found such a really nice guy. I´m sure he will be missed by his family and friends. He was special.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Ed always had a smile and a kind word to say whenever you saw him.

To Ed's family and friends, I'm very sorry for your loss. I met Ed when he was in traction at Mercy years ago as his PT, within a few visits we were related!! Always enjoyed him reminiscing about the old days on The Hill. and he poured a good pint at the Keg! I'm sure you have lots of fond memories to get you thru this difficult time. Mary Walsh (Houlihans Miller St)

A heartfelt thank you for your service to our country. Rest in peace.

Just a great guy. I always enjoyed our conversations. Please accept my condolences.

To all of the Fitzgerald family- I have many wonderful memories of Eddie. We first met on the hill and then worked together at the Keg. Always the gentleman with such a quick wit. I always enjoyed his company and am saddened to hear of his passing. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Mrs. Fitz and Linda, So sad to read this today I have nothing but fond memories of Mr. Fitz. Trips to Miscumacit, The Tara, and the countless hours I spent at you house. Always kind and generous. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Steve Scagliarini
