EDWARD ?ED? FOGG, JR, age 81 years, of Slidell, LA passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015.
Beloved Husband to the love of his life, Elizabeth Haddad Fogg, for the past 58 years.
Father of Lori Fogg Moses(Thomas ?Chip?), Ken Edward Fogg(Jessica), Michelle Fogg Neal(Craig) and the late Kip Stephen Fogg.
Son of the late Edward Fogg, Sr. and Iva Parker Fogg.
Brother of Floyd C. Fogg, the late Fred Fogg, Milton Fogg, Hazel Kustamacher, Thelma Howze and Hilda Wood.
Also survived by 7 grandchildren, Tori Moses Williams, Taed Moses, Tarin Moses, Francesca Fogg, Cristina Fogg, Collin Neal, Calleia Neal, and numerous nieces and nephews.

As a native and lifelong resident of Slidell, he was a 1952 Slidell High School graduate where he held the football rushing record for 38 years.
He was a four year football letterman at LSU and continued to play while serving in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958.
He was the owner of Fogg?s True Value for 40 years and subsequently worked for the La. Department of Agriculture for 10 years.
Ed taught the sixth grade boys Sunday School class at First Baptist Church for 40 years where he was also an ordained Deacon since 1960.
He was a proud member of the Slidell Noon Lions Club and the Jaycees.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Services which will be held at First Baptist Church, 4141 Pontchartrain Drive, Slidell, LA on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Slidell.
Visitation at the church on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to Special Music Fund of First Baptist Church,preferred, in lieu of flowers.

Liz, I am so sorry about the loss of your sweet husband. Ed's eyes would always light up when he spoke of you. When speaking of you he would always call you "Miss Liz" and then smile his big smile. Much love, Beth Strain

Mr Ed was a wonderful Godly example to me and my family he will greatly missed, but I will see him again.

I first met Ed when he was playing football at Slidell High and I was coaching football at St Paul (1949-53).I followed his career at LSU and
in the 60's and 70's he and Floyd officiated basketball for me when I was in charge of the high school basketball officials.

Mr Ed showed us all how to live for God he was the first person to say hi at First Baptist when I first joined in 2002 he said I was a backrow baptist like he was I loved serving Jesus with bro.Ed
