Edward M. Foley, Jr., age 59, passed away on March 7, 2026 in Palm Coast, Florida, after fighting a brave battle with ALS. He was born on November 6, 1966 in Boston, Massachusetts to Edward Foley & Dianne (Peck) Foley.
Edward was a graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School, Class of 1984 and attended Lowell and Framingham University. Edward was a lineman for over 30 years, working for NSTAR electric company in Massachusetts, COMED in Chicago, Illinois and finally for Florida Power & Light. While in Massachusetts, he also had his own DJ company, VIP Entertainment. Edward married Sheila Fonseca on September 26, 2005 in Pembroke Pines, Florida and they went on to raise a wonderful family together. Among his many joys, Edward loved to support all of his children in their sports, racing & volleyball. He also loved the motorcycle scene and coaching in the Palm Coast Little League in his early years in Palm Coast. Edward & Sheila also loved to travel and go to concerts, and he really enjoyed boating & fishing. Edward has been a resident of Palm Coast since 2013 when he, Sheila & their family moved from Chicago, Illinois.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Sheila Foley; his three children Taylor Foley, Bristol Foley & Aidan Foley; his parents, Edward & Dianne Foley; a sister, Erin Mrha Foley; a brother, Sean Foley and a number of extended family members & friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday March 20, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations, 39 Old Kings Rd. N., Palm Coast, FL 32137. A Prayer Service will be held during the visitation at 6:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Edward Foley’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
The family of Mr. Foley have entrusted his arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
