Not sure what to say?

I met and his wife on a trip to eastern Europe dozens of years of ago led by Monsignor Sniezyk. We had a wonderful time with Ed and Mary. He was always kind, fun and and great to be around. Mary must have great photos from that trip as she took many pix. My sympathy to Mary and their children and grandchildren. He was a great guy..

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Franz family. Mr. Franz was always a welcome presence at any Hungry Hill event. We were just kids but we will always remember what a kind man he was and what a wonderful sense of humor he had.
With sympathy,
Maureen, Bobbie, Billy, and Martie
The kids of Red & Peggie Murphy

Deepest condolences to John and the entire Franz family.

To Mary, Jimmy, John and Family,
It always made my day when Ed and Mary (aka Mr and Mrs Franz) walked in the door at Russ' for breakfast when I was working. I knew I was in for some fun. I shared being a fellow Eastern Mass transplant with Ed. We Always did our fave Lynn, Lynn poem as I understood he spent some time there. And Mary, so wonderful and kind with her beautiful singing voice. I will always cherish those memories of sharing those good times, and count myself lucky to have...

I knew District Chief Edward Franz for Many years. I was a friend of Tom Sampson and we spent time at "The Square". I remember him, and his sense of humor. He wil be remembered in the prayers that I say daily. He was a great person, even though he had a Boston accent. Luckily he married a Great woman from Hungry Hill, and then lived there himself. My wife and I will always remember Him and his family. God Bless Him. Tom Hurley, Sheila Dineen Hurley. See him at the Mass.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Ed was a good man and a pleasure to work with. Very witty and compassionate and thoughtful. It was an honor to work with him.

I worked with Chief Franz at Winchester square,So sad to hear of his passing,J.McCaffrey.

Jimmy, John and especially Mrs. Franz , condolences from the Keating family. Myself I always enjoyed running into the Chief. True gentleman whom they don't make like that anymore. My dad sends his sincere condolences also.
