Not sure what to say?

Ed was my Uncle. We have a strong naval tradition That runs deep on all sides of my branch of the the family. I never had the opportunity to serve with you, Uncle Eddie. On behalf of the lower decks, fair winds and following seas, Captain Gabrielson. We'll see each other again.

Ed and I both graduated from SDSU in 1967, although then it was called San Diego State College. Over the years, we would see each other at the ASCE meetings, which Ed always went to. He was part of an engineering family legacy and was proud of that heritage. Later I was fortunate to be able to work with him at Parsons Corp where he helped with our local San Diego office marketing. He was a kind and gentle person and I respected his great advice on many occasions. After he left Parsons I lost...

I knew Ed at Andrew Jackson, Horace Mann & Crawford. I always remember Ed as a nice person & most of the time with a smile. I had several classes with him over the years. We were not close friends, but I always remember only good things about Ed. The world would be a much better place if we had a lot more people like Ed.

Gail and I have very fond memories of Ed and our friendship over so many years. Our Lord has Ed and family tightly embraced in his loving and caring arms. Thanks for everything Ed!

Played jr golf with ed in the "old days" at mission valley cc (now riverwalk)--best memory meeting Ed & his "bride" in subic bay phillipines where he was stationed as a young engineering officer-- Always enthusiastic!! Ed-RIP

Ed was one of the few people that always took time with you. I especially appreciated all his wisdom and guidance through the years and with ASCE. He was always ready to help and make things happen. Thank you for your care and support. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Blessings.

Ed was a good friend 60 years ago at Crawford High.

Ed was our neighbor. My girls sold Girl Scout cookies to Ed and his wife. He was the nicest man! He was so friendly and kind-hearted. He said, "You made my day by coming to our door!" He saw my girls and I taking a walk one day, stopped his car, and walked over just to say hello. My girls would make art projects and leave them at their doorstep. He was the sweetest man. His family will be our prayers.

We were saddened to hear of Eddie's passing. The family is in our thoughts and prayers.
