I wish to extend my sorrow at your son's passing. I only met him once at Mike and Debbie's home, but feel I know your family through them. Dear Elizabeth and Doug,

I received a call telling me of Edward's passing. I immediately began to draw on memories of the different opportunities I was given to watch him grow in several areas of his young life. He was a brilliant child and from all accounts a brilliant and caring young man.

As you move on in these trying times, continuously draw on the strength of family, friends and above all, the strength of God Almighty.

My prayers are with you all.

Dear Doug and Family, I would say

"God Bless You," but from the

outpouring of caring responses it is

clear that you are "Blessed with a

host of loving freinds."

My prayers are for your hearts to be

comforted.

Dear Elizabeth and Doug, Please know that we share your profound sadness and loss of your son. It is such a shock to absorb and impossible to believe that he has left us. I know that you are comforted knowing that he is present at the feet of Christ. Please feel free to call if you want to talk. Although I have no answers, I share your experience and your hearts. Please know that our family holds you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy, Judy and Bill Thorn

To Doug, Elizabeth and ALL the extended Gaker family,
I am sitting here with tears flowing reading about Edward's death and the notes of condolence. I cannot begin to understand the depths of your grief! I know that he, like all of your children, was precious to you. I wish I could give you all a big hug, but I pray that "our Lord Jesus...
