Edward F. Gangemi

I was so sorry to hear of Edward´s passing. While it´s been years since we were last together our families shared many special memories. Growing up, only the Gangemies had more children than the Obermayer´s! Playing in the yard on Post Ave...sharing birthdays and holidays... too many memories.... Prayers for you all

Wanted to add this picture of painting my cousin Edward painted for his Uncle Paul and Aunt Jo (my parents). I remember when he gave it to them. They were so happy and how they loved it.

I met Eddie when I was 18 at my cousin´s house on Delafield Avenue. He was 4 years older than me and I loved him. He used to write me poems and love letters and leave them in my mailbox so I would find them in the morning before I left for work. I only have one photo of him but two pictures that he painted. The mountain scene I had described to him and he painted it for me. The other one I thought was interesting. The lizard was originally going to be a horse but he changed it. He was a sweet...
