He was one of the pivotal people in my life who turned on my mental light bulb and engaged me with history in relationship to policy and government. I've been a political activist ever since. Mr. Gant my History Teacher in the 60's. I really liked him. He was one of my favorite teachers! RIP Mr. Gant!

I had Mr. Gant for US History in the 60's. He was an excellent teacher and you had to earn your grade. When I ran into him in later years he would always want to know how you were doing. He was just a really great person and had a positive influence on students and friends. Stew Hooks

Had Mr. Gant as a history teacher and football coach in the 60's and 70's. Well known for his ankle tape jobs before games.Ed and Jane were a very nice couple.
