Not sure what to say?

I met Eddie at the Caldwell Baptist Church in the 1950's and my sister, Joy also remebers Eddie. We will never forget him. He would take us around the block in his car untill our mother and father would come out of church.
I took up the troumbone because of him; many fond memories of Eddie.
Our father and mother would talk a lot about him.

So sorry to learn of your earthly loss. I am Elizabeth Carolyn Hill Thoren daughter of Carolyn Egbert . Her father was William Egbert and Sarah Egbert Campbell was his sister. Aunt Sadie(nickname) was Alice Campbell Garlock.s mother. Cousin Alice married Edward Garlock. We spent time in north Jersey with them when I was a child and there was always music and Alice on the piano. We lived in Absecon, south Jersey. I have books by H. B Garlock with RuthAnn Garlock, "Before we Kill and Eat...

Uncle Ed was my Mom's (Eunice) oldest brother. He was a wonderful brother, uncle, husband, father, & grandfather.
Jane, Tricia, & Phyllis: My family & I are so sorry that your Dad & Mom passed away. I hope & pray it comforts you to know that they are together again in heaven. They were always so kind, friendly, & interesting. You are in our thoughts & prayers. We wish you God's blessings, comfort, & peace.

Miss you dear Dad but so happy you are with Mom again and with Peggy Jean, Alice, your Mom and Dad and your brothers Elmer, David and Bob and your sister Alice. and ESPECIALLY with Jesus. hope you are enjoying playing your trombone in heaven to accompany the angels singing.

Ed was my Dad's oldest brother. He was a gentle and kind spirit who always treated as royalty. One would never have known that he was an Iwo Jima Marine. It it partly his fault that I leaned to play the trombone and love coin collecting. I am grateful to have known him... a true American Hero.
