Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Ed's passing, and was saddened by it. During the time I worked with him, many years ago, he was brilliant, funny, cheerful, and very helpful. He named my fish "Sam and Janet Evening". He is unforgettable.

My deep sympathy to Ed's family.

I had the pleasure of being one of Ed's nurses. He was an amazing man that I was honored to care for. I knew him a very short time but I felt like I had known him forever. It was truly my honor to care for him- he told me how much he loved all of his children- and spoke quite frequently about his son, "Danny duck" I believe he called him. Best wishes to his family in this time of loss.

Uncle Ed, I believe you are one of the most thoughtful men, the funniest man, just a treasure to all who have known you. What a loss to us all, especially your children. Godspeed, your niece Liz

I worked with Ed and learned much from him at Calspan. I remember him showing me all of the intricacies of the scanning electron microscope, he was so proud of his work. Ed also had a wonderful sense of humor, I always felt better after talking to him, no matter how tough the day was. His smile will be something I will never forget. God Bless my dear friend.

Ed and I were colleagues at Calspan during the 1980's. He was a mentor and friend who taught this young (at the time!) scientist how to use an electron microscope and many other things. His quick wit and humor always brightened each day. The saying "oh boy, oh boy, oh boy" always meant an invite for a lunch of potato pancakes! He will be missed but I'm sure he's been welcomed with open arms in heaven and will keep them laughing too.

Our deepest sympathy to the Gasiecki Family...Ed was not only a unique, kind, caring individual, but a "special" friend. We have so many wonderful memories of him over the last 25 years. He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I had the pleasure of working with Ed when he was our Chemical Hygiene Officer here at Erie Community College. He's the greatest guy I ever met. If you were in a bad mood he certainly would come out with a joke that would perk you right up. He truly will be missed.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the Gasiecki Family. He was a great man and very humorous. We remember going to the Fish Fry's at The Polish Falcon. We had a great time listening to his many jokes. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you always.

Dan I am so sorry for the loss of your father. He is in a better place and now you don't have to worry anymore. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
