Read MoreEd and I were buddies thru seventh grade into high school on football teams and we were at the same army forts in Kentucky and AlabAma and I was glad to know about his in the army serving in Germany while I went to Vietnam. I am glad to know he enjoyed many married and raising children years. Ed and his family during the 1960s were kind and endearing and I miss Ed up thru today. Pete Christich

I was so sorry to learn about Ed's passing. I shared the fun of the Flint Rotisserie League fantasy (as the Black Sox owner) with Ed and Joel (as the DB Dicks co-owners). We had a great time over the years, including some big trades (like when I got Justin Verlander in a trade because his contract was expiring and I won the league while JV won the MVP and Cy Young).
