Not many memories linger from my grade school years, but memories of my 3rd grade year with Ed Goffard as my teacher at the newly opened Knott Street School are still vivid. I remember his energy and enthusiasm in the classroom. He and I had a long and rewarding phone conversation after I moved back to Oregon in 1999. May his memory be a blessing.

Mr Goffard was my 5th grade teacher at Sumner Elementary. He was the first male teacher I had so I was a little nervous. That ended the first day of school. He was by far my favorite grade school teacher and I have many good memories of being in his class. I am 72 now and still remember him. I am so sorry for your loss, but feel blessed to have had him as a teacher.

BRIAN AND FAMILY I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOST. HE WAS A MAN THAT ALLWAYS BEAT THE ODDS. I REMEMBER AS A 10 YEAR OLD GOING TO HOWIES MIKE AND WOULD END MY TRIANGLE GOING TO YOUR HOUSE.
