Sorry I couldn't attend the services. My condolences to
the family. I'll always remember playing football with Eddie at Stoughton High in 64 and 65,he was a great guy. My prayers are with him.

Very sad to see another one of our Veterans from Stoughton pass...I knew his very handsome Son and his Daughter "chickie" all were very respected members of our tight knit community..May You Rest In Peace...Stoughton will always remember you

I am deeply saddened to hear of Ed's passing, and i wish to express the sincerest of condolences to family and friends. I would bump into him from time to time around town but, more often than not, at my dad's "second home" -- the Portuguese National Club. He wad alwsys quick to share a smile or a laugh and that is how i shall remember him. May God Bless you; Rest in Peace

Eddie Gomes was my cousin and a very close friend of my parents. I enjoyed my time spent with him in Buzzards Bay and at the Portuguese National Club . Rest In Peace.
