Mary Beth, I just found out and I am so very sorry. Ed fought the good fight and you were at his side always looking for ways to make things better and help carry the load. Love and prayers to you and yours.

Ed was a good guy from high school and thru the years. My deepest condolences to Mary Beth and the family.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Gorbett. Keeping you all close to my heart.

Mary Beth, so sorry for your loss of Ed. Always a pleasure to meet up with you both on any family occasion. Wish we could be with you tomorrow but we certainly will think of you all while we attend Mass here in Florida.

My sincerest condolences to you Mary Beth, to your daughters and to Ed's brothers and the rest of the family. At Cathedral Latin, Ed was the total community and team man, both gentle and strong. My prayers go with you. Lou Volpe, CL '66

Deepest sympathy to Mary Beth and her daughters. Ed was a great neighbor and always willing to help . May he Rest In Peace

I was so sorry to hear of Ed´s passing. I used to see him around town every once in a while. I would see him at McDonald´s with his father in law and at Panera with his buddies. It was always fun catching up and remembering the St Angela sports boosters days. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a good guy!

Have known Ed since my days of delivering mail to his house. We would have conversations quite often and Ed was a genuine person. I last saw Ed at McDonalds where he would meet some of the regular retirees for coffee. He was a gentlemen in all aspects. He will be missed. My sympathy to the family. Rest in peace Ed.
