Edward Graczyk, age 74, of Lemont, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Mother Theresa Home in Lemont.
Preceded in death by his parents Albert and Lottie, nee Kryszak, Graczyk, and sisters Ruth Graczyk Korelc, Evaline Graczyk, Margaret Graczyk Herbert, Alice Graczyk, and also a brother, Theodore Graczyk.
Survived by sisters Lorraine Graczyk Slachetka of Lemont, Agnes Graczyk Stawasz of California, and brothers Frederick Graczyk of Florida, Donald (Patrice) Graczyk of Lemont, Eugene Graczyk of California, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services Saturday, January 11, 2014, 9:30 a.m. from Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St. Lemont, to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment parish cemetery. Visitation Friday 3 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 608 Sobieski St. Lemont, IL 60439, would be preferred.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this very difficult time, I will think of my Eddie often and have many fond memories.
