Ed and Dot Gudgel were an inspirational couple. I met them back in the early 90's when Ed served as the President of the West Point Society of the Space Coast. A more gracious and loving couple you have never seen. I kept in touch through the years with annual Christmas cards - Ed's was always a bright spot - and he always expressed his undying love for Dot. He represented everything good in this world-Honorable, respectable, giving and loving.He shared his time and talents wherever they were needed. He was intelligent and had a wonderful sense of humor. His standards were high but he lead by example. He's a hard act to follow but we can't go wrong using him as our guide.
