Not sure what to say?

Linda and family,
Dot Schillinger and I, Evelyn Reker
are so sorry about Ed. He was such a special person to us as with many here at St. Anthony Medical Center. Yearly he reminded me that he and I, Evelyn shared our Christmas Eve birthday. I alway told him he was older. He will be missed. Ev R

Dear Linda,
Ed and I both grew up in Webster Groves, went to high school and then Meramec together, both working on the newspapers. I have many fond memories of him being my 'boss' as editor of the paper at Meramec. I had seen him a few times since then but obviously not since you were married. You have my and my families deepest sympathies.
Sincerely,
Richard Truesdell

Dear Linda,

How saddened and surprised I was to open the newspaper and see that Ed passed away! Although I haven't seen you for many years, I will always remember fondly the sweet fellowship we shared at CBS. My prayers are with you, friend.

Dear Linda, my thouhts and prayers continue with you at this time. You
have been an example of grace and faith throughout this ordeal. May you find rest and peace.

Linda and family,
Throughout the years and without end, you've always been a treasured friend. I will miss Ed reminding me that we shared Christmas Eve birthdays. We will miss his smiling face. You both have been so courageous. We will keep Ed and the family in our prayers.

Ed was a very speial friend from our days together on the Merame Montage staff, then at MU and beyond. Even in those early days, he was a bright journalist but, most importantly, a good man and a wonderful friend. It's been too many years since we've been in touch, but my mom would send me clippings any time Ed was mentioned in the paper, and I have wonderful memories of Ed and the "Montage/MU/Campus View gang". Our thoughts and prayers are with Ed's family. Sincerely, Kathy Cunningham Marts
