Dec. 17, 1929 - Nov. 27, 2015 Mr. Edward Gwinn, Jr. (affectionately known as "Kidd"), a veteran of the United States Army, native and lifelong resident of Chunchula, AL., departed this life on Friday, November 27, 2015. He was born December 17, 1929 to his late parents, Mr. Ed (Carrie) Gwinn, Sr. He attended school in his hometown of Chunchula. He was preceded in death by two siblings: a brother, Leonard Gwinn, and sister, Willie Mae Evans Perry. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving and devoted wife, Mary Mumford Gwinn; two daughters, Rosie Jones, and Beatrice Bussey; son, James, Boykins; sisters, Edna Boggess and Bernice Jackson, Elizabeth Green, Katie Inglesia, and Rosa Clark; one aunt, Willie V. Gwinn; one sister-in-law, Barbara Jean Gwinn. A host of devoted stepchildren; grandchildren; great grandchildren;, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour at Starlight Full Gospel Church, 7266 Chunchula-Georgetown Rd. Chunchula, AL. Rev. Anthony Rogers Pastor and Officiating Minister. Interment will follow in the Starlight Cemetery. ARRANGEMENTS ARE ENTRUSTED TO THE CAREFUL DIRECTION OF REESE FUNERAL HOME 925 S. Afterward you just talked and had a fun conversations with them. And "ALL" the children's loved you just as much.
