Edward Everette Hale

My parents, Dan and Dorothy Oliver, considered Ed and Elaine among the dearest of their friends, and my brother David and I knew them since our dad and Ed were in training for Kodak in Rochester, NY, in the mid 1960s. Ed and my dad, and Elaine and my mom became such good buddies there, and did lots of things together which continued throughout the rest of their lives. I was saddened to just learn of Ed's passing. I knew him thru photography and working at Cameras Unlimited. Ed was one of my favorite customers and I have missed my times chatting with him. He shared one of his earth from the moon shots that he acquired while working with NASA and is one of my cherished possessions. We are very sorry for your loss. We remember the Hales very fondly from the days on Selwyn. May God comfort each of you.

I had the privilege of taking care of Mr. Hale on 3rd shift at The Cascades. We had coffee many mornings. Mr. Hale was a very wise man with a kind heart. He would always ask me if anything good went on in Travelers Rest(where I live). I will miss our morning talks dearly.
