I am still hearbroken over the loss of Ed. Even though I didn't see him, a day went by that I didn't think of him. I still do. We drive by so many places that remind us of Ed. He will never be forgotten. He will always be in our hearts.

I was very saddened to hear of Eddie's passing. I got to know him well during the summer of 1975, when he recruited me out of the stands of Civic Stadium to help with the bat boy duties for the Portland Mavericks. The obituary I read on 12/30 described some of his great attributes clearly: intelligent, charismatic and funny. He always made us smile then - and still does now, thanks to the fond memories. He and his family are in my family's prayers. I'm confident he's keeping busy and...
