I think I may have been the first to introduce ED to snow skiing...it was at Wildcat Mountain and he was crashing on almost every turn...however, as always he persisted and became quite a good skier. We had a couple of flights together where we did some skiing in California...and it was amazing how much he enjoyed the sport...and he wore me out! Always full of energy and positive, it was always great to see him and catch up...a very fine friend and gentleman. My thoughts are with you. ...

I'm so sorry Ed is gone. What a kind, lovely man he was. Skiing with him and Joan is a very fond memory for me. Ed taught me to ski in deep snow, unusual for a New England skier. I just wish we could all live it all over again!

Dear Joan
You and Ed fit together like a hand in a glove. I'm certain Ed's passing is profound even if expected. I've had the pleasure of seeing you two interact over dinner with Prime Timers and even on the slopes. Clearly you had great love, respect and a caring relationship.
Please know I am thinking of you and your family at this sad time of loss. Embrace each other and hold fast to all the lovely memories.
