Not sure what to say?

Our 50th reunion together brought back so many fun memories of our days together at St. Andrew's. The laughter, the joking around about the things we did, the pranks combined with the discussion of how our life journeys have taken us was all so much fun. Ed accomplished so very much and contributed so much to everyone around him. Ed really succeeded in life. We shall miss you Ed.

I was out of town during the service, or I would have been there. The twinkle in Ed's eye will be long remembered.

Ed was an exceptional spirit and I shall certainly miss his humor. "Princess Di" was my name in the office and I shall miss hearing that. May your soul rest in peace. To the family, my prayers are with you! God Bless!

You will be missed Mr. Hammond. I loved the stories while I worked for the Commissioners office! My prayers to your family!

Ed was truly the "Prince of Justice". I learned alot from Ed and will treasure his many stories.

We will miss your sense of humor and love of life. It was an honor to work with you. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Ed Hammond was a wonderful person. I got to know Ed when he would come to the office to see Whaley. He always took the time to come in our office and talk to us. He used to joke about Whaley having Bankers hours because he would always get there before Whaley. Every time I would see him ,Ed would take the time to talk. He surely will be missed. My condolences to all the Family. God gave us Memories so our Loved One would always be with us. Lean on God he will see you through .

Dear Betty and family,
Whenever I saw "Yumpy" I smiled before either of us had said a word. Surely anyone tolerating their childhood nickname into adulthood has to be extraordinarily well adjusted. His sense of humor never failed, making doing business with him an occasion.
My favorite story was of a rainy day boardwalk pub crawl when his beach stand was closed. Yumpy and associates were asked to leave the Irish House for making too much noise! He declared he'd never heard of...
