Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr Hanley's loved ones. He was one of our first customers, and we always enjoyed seeing and conversing with him whether he came to gem/fossil shows or whether we went to the store on Sanibel. He was so interesting and will certainly be missed.
With our condolences,

Captain Ed was a kind and sweet person..I was one of his caregivers at Calousa Harbor and will always remember him for being a nice man. I'm saddened to hear of his passing. His brimming smile, and good sense of humor touched many people.

Ed & Sharon Hauser (Dad's cousin & wife)

Sid Broughton ( Dad's diving partner)

We remember Ed with fondness and fun since 1980; always ready to chat about shells.

We loved stopping in and talking to Ed and Jackie. We learned so much from them. It was always the highlight of our vacation. Snaibel never realized the treasures they had in Ed and Jackie.

Our trip to Sanibel every year wasn't complete without several trips to Neptune's to see Ed to learn more about
the sea from his wealth of experience. Of course we always had to buy something,
and all of those treasures still bring back wonderful memories.

We will miss Ed and remember
him always!!

Ed had a profound and lasting effect upon our lives, from the moment we first entered his and Jackie's store on Sanibel, 15 years ago, to last week, when we said our final goodbyes to him over the telephone from Colorado.
We were incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to travel and work with him. We saw firsthand the genuine affection and respect other customers and dealers had for Ed and the soft spot he had for the children who came into his store. He entertained us with tales...
