Not sure what to say?

Well here I am still on A-Dock at Oceanside Harbor where I first met Ed in 2001, 19 years ago. Not many of us still around on A-Dock who knew Ed but a few. Fond memories and respect for a great man who impressed me greatly. I bought our original boat from Ed's best friend, Mike Cafarchia, who is still with us. What a close friendship they had together. Ed's life and military service represents what made this Country great. Something to not forget in these troubled times. Thank you Ed!

Ed Harloff was a great man and great American having been wounded in action at Iwo Jima . My friend Ed and his longtime and wonderful lady Barbara were one of the most loving couples I have ever known. Ed was such a good business man and I was fortunate to been able to learn much from him. I miss he and Barbara very much.

im sorry Im just saying goodbye to one of Americas greatest heroes both on the battlefield protecting our liberties and at home and in business showing people that being a hero doesnt stop on the battlefield.
I think its fitting to remind myself and others who cared soo deeply for the Harloff family that today in 2020 we are faced with a true life and death situation to keep our country free that Ed fought so hard to protect. I spoke to the White House several times recently and...

My dad, Bud Stuart, bought all his Chevrolets from Ed Harloff beginning with a 1950 Chevrolet 150 2 dr Sedan. Mr Harloff was always so nice to me when I was little. I last saw him at Arlene Odney's funeral and he hadn't changed a bit, still the same friendly guy.

Dear Barbara and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. My mother, Pauline (Dumais) Stergios always spoke highly of Ed, all he accomplished, all he did to help and encourage others, generously giving to all. Ed passed away less than a month after Pauline.....I have no doubt she was part of those that met and welcomed him into Heaven. I look forward to the day we are reunited with our loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Most Sincerely,
Paula...

Dear Barbara and family....We had the priviledge and honor to get to know Ed through the car business and words cant express the respect and admiration we had for him not only as a car dealer and business man but more importantly as a friend and mentor...When I was down mentally I would call Ed and would get picked back up by his always positive attitude and wonderful out look on life. What a great legecy he has left for his children and grandchildren and he blessed everyone of us who had the...

Dear Barbara and family: I am Carol Oveson, wife of Ed's cousin James Oveson from Big Lake, MN. I am so sorry for your loss. I had never met Ed, but from all the wonderfully funny stories that the Oveson cousins shared and the special memories they had, I somehow feel I personally knew Ed. Please accept deepest sympathy from me and my family. Jim went to be with the Lord on July 30, of this year and I believe now these "two cousins" are still sharing and laughing especially with Cora and...

Alain and I want to extend our sincere sympathy to Barbara and all of the Harloff family. We were lucky to have such great neighbors as Ed and Barbara. We will never forget Ed.
