Not sure what to say?

BOBO was my friend and we were working out together that summer i was going to be a freshman at Tech that Fall and was hoping to get my chance to play with BOBO during his senior year.I played at Tech but unfortunately BOBO was gone miss that guy to this day I am sure a would have been playing on a team on Sunday afternoon. RIP bro

Bobo, sweet Bobo, you gentle giant! Your smile lit up the first floor halls at Tech high! You were the first young person, that I knew pretty well that passed away. A devastating time! As I remember you I also remember a time in history that we all loved one another. Male/female, black/white, fat/skinny, rich/poor, jock/gear-head blonde/brunette/redhead/kinky- none of it mattered! It was a time of love and acceptance. I wonder what would you have achieved you gentle giant..........

I have often thought of him too. I was at five mile pond that day, I graduated from Tech in "66"

While I did not know Bobo, I was on the beach that day. I was only 9, but I have never forgotten his name or the date. My heart goes out to his family.

Although I did not know him well,I remember the sadness I felt hearing of his passing as I was a freshman at Tech at that time.He left a positive impression.
Denise Butler[Hughes] Class of 66

I have often thought of "Bobo" Harris, I was at Winchester Square when the police escorted the ambulance to Springfield Hospital (Baystate Medical Center) with Mr. Harris. What a sad day in Springfield I remember in the passing of friend and classmate. You're still greatly missed.

I have thought of him many times since the day he drowned. I graduated in 1963, but knew him as a really nice guy.

Ed was good people. I knew him for only a short time, but he left an impression on me that still remains to this day.
John Baker Class 1965

I went to Jr High (BUCKINGHAM) with BOBO. He was to go to Syracuse and wear #44. That's how wel respected he was. When he drowned that summer in 1964, there was an article in the paper from those low lives at Cathedral High saying come on and do the Swim. This in reference to a song by bobby Freemen
