Sisco Funeral Home, Inc. - Pea Ridge Obituary

Edward Hawkins Bennett, 86, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas died August 9, 2025.

He was born February 24, 1939 in Montrose, Colorado to Edward John Bennett and Myrtle Irene Hawkins. He was a US Air Force Veteran honorably discharged March 19, 1963. He retired from UPS after twenty-five years, loved British sport cars and loved his cats (but we don’t hold that against him). He enjoyed hanging out with the folks at White Oak in Pea Ridge and was a woodworker. Edward loved old westerns, had a humble persona and was known for his dry but witty sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Hellen Keller, Dorothy Dolloff and Mary Wright.

Survivors are his sons, Steven Bennett (Barbara) of Charleston, South Carolina, Robert Bennett (Lorie) of Clifton, Virginia; sisters, Joy Wendt of Clemons, North Carolina, Marjorie Moon of Rogers, Arkansas; grandchildren, Megan, Lauren, Madelyn, Mason and one great-grandson, Foster.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August, 11, 2025 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Military honors will be provided by the US Air Force Honor Team.

Not sure what to say?

I remember Ed coming to the house wanting a ride to the bank and dollar general. He would talk and tell about himself. Would always say thanks for the ride. Will miss seeing him on his walk in the park. Rest in peace Mr Ed.

We will miss seeing Mr.Ed and his guard cat around the neighborhood. Prayers to the family.
