My sincere condolences to the family. It is hard to lose someone close to us.
But please know that God does not forget our loved ones or us as we have to cope with this loss. We are encouraged to throw all our anxieties upon him because he cares for you".

Ann and families, My deepest sympathies. We have enjoyed camping at Deer Valley since I was a child. I have lots of memories! I was happy to see Ed in December and he reminded me about he and Dottie running into my parents on a street in Hawaii. He described that as one of the biggest surprises of his life.
May God be with you.

Dear Ann; So sorry to hear about Ed's passing.
We had so much fun over the years on so many of the dive club trips. I was glad that he called me before your move to Stuart and we had time to reminice about our scuba adventures. It brought back so many memories for both of us.

Dear Ann and Ed's families,
I knew Ed as a staffer at Deer Valley for 7 summers. Ed was such a wonderful DV Camp Director. Ever since my last year at DV, (some 29 years ago), Ed and I have exchanged Christmas cards and letters. I would have loved to have seen him again, and I will miss receiving the Christmas cards from Ed and Ann. My heart is heavy but I am comforted knowing Ed lived a long and full life. My heartfelt condolences and blessings to all of his loved ones. Ed was loved...

Dear Hecker Family,
I would like to send my deepest sympathies to you all. Although the Deer Valley community has lost it's icon, the Hecker Family has lost a father, a husband, grandfather, and great grandfather. May God grant you strength during this difficult time.
