Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Ed as a kind and gentle human being. I had not spoken to Ed in many years, but I can hear him calling me "Chucky" as if it was yesterday. He was a special person and I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. My prayers are with his friends and family in this time of loss.

Ed was one of the truly good people I've known.

Ed is one of the good people. Those rare individuals who we all hope our children grow up to be like. Gentle, smart, caring, strong, considerate, and a friend to all. It has been a few years since I have seen Ed, however, I've never missed him more than now. My prayers are with Ed's family and friends that their sorrow is tempered by the memories of the good times that we enjoyed because of Ed.

My deepest condolences. Although I had not seen Ed for several years it is sad knowing that he is no longer upon this earth with us. I am sure he is in a more peaceful place now.

Deepest sympathies on the loss of a great man. I was part of the Phi Delt class of '81 and thought often about Ed.

Ed was a great guy and fraternity brother. Although I had not seen him in over 20 years, I still remember his big smile and great attitude in helping out. We will miss him but he will not be forgotten. He and his family are in my prayers.
