Not sure what to say?

Meriam and family:
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I just wanted you to know I am thinking of you and your family. I don't live in Auburn anymore, but think of you often. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. There has been no one at Auburn University that I respected more than Dean Hobbs.

Working for Dean Hobbs for 15 years I came to admire his attributes. A fine human being, a delightful sense of humor, the wisdom of Solomon, a friend. He set a high standard by which to judge others. Your grief will lessen after a time Marleah. It helped me to talk of my husband's life after he died.

Dean Hobbs will always be remembered as a gentleman who conducted his affairs with dignity.

Mrs. Hobbs and Blair, I was so sorry to hear about Dean Hobbs. I have great memories of when he used to play with Blair and I when we were little. It's nice to have those to remember him by. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Dean Ed Hobbs was a special person for both of us--professionally as well as personally. We shall miss him. Our regards to Marleah and the rest of the family.

My prayers are with you at this sad time. Dean Hobbs was a great man. He was one of the finest man I have ever known.

Dear Friends; A great and wonderful man is now with our Lord. During my years at Auburn no one individual had more respect from the Auburn Faculty Administration or community than Dr. Ed Hobbs. I personally cherished his friendship and advice.
Know that he will be sorely missed and remembered with admiration.

Bless you in these difficult days,

Claude W. & Sylvia Gossett
