Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to hear that Eddie has died. He was certainly a true "nice guy" always with the smile and the good word. We shared an interest in Broadway musicals, and I still remember him saying "you've gotta hear this" and then played a record selection from the then new "No No Nannette", a 1971 revival of a 1925 musical. He knew I'd like it - that's why he set it up for me. That was Ed. It's still one of my favorites. He was called "Fast Eddie" or just "Fast" back in the RPI days as...

My heart goes out to the Hobson family. Remembering Ed. from high school he was always a gentlemen and a great guy.

Ed Hobson has left a legacy of spirit, passion, love and hope to so many. He was known in his field and he was a wise change agent. Anyone who met him was touched and we are a family that knew the power of his joy and generosity. It will be impossible not to walk by a rose and not think of Ed, smell something delicious being cooked, hear a Gershwin song on the piano or walk the streets of New York City and not feel his spirit right next to us. And we will ALWAYS remember the testimony to...

I was sad to hear of Teddy's passing. Although, I have not seen him in some 40 years, I have fond memories as a kid as we all gathered at Wayne's house for swimming, baseball, barbecues and great all around fun.

Eddie is a personal hero, to me, I know him through Chuck Phelan, who has been one of Ed and Judy's closest friends for many years. I work in a television ministry for a small church and Ed came and hooked up some high tech video equipment and taught me how to use it. I was humbled to have such a great man helping me out in my humble editing environment, and he inspired greatness and warmth (that's Ed!), my office has never been the same! When I played the piano at NTC's Christmas Parties,...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I attended RPI and knew Ed through WRPI. I got the sad news from his grieving friends and collegues in California where he will be missed very much.

I was especially touched by the wonderful photo - because it shows him smiling - which he always did.

I'd like to attend the local (NJ) memorial service once the service details are known.

Although it has been several years since I have seen or spoken to Ed ,we went to school for all of our formative years . He was the captain of our elementary school safety patrol as well as always being willing to choose up sides when it was time to play "sandlot" baseball . Always a smile and always a laugh, I feel your sorrow !
