Not sure what to say?

I remember the fun times we had at your house when Ed called Barbara and me "Barbara Square." He was a very nice person, and I know you will always have fond memories. My Mom, who "disremembers" alot these days, saw the obituary in the news paper and called me right away. She said she was sorry she cannot attend the service since she is somewhat incapacitated, but she sends her prayers.

My heart and my loving prayers are with Mae. May God bless and guide you with his grace and comfort and peace. You have been a devoted wife. I love you Mae.....Celia

I worked for Ed and with ed for a decade or so at NASA. With his leadership as a Superviser we had several enjoyable and succesful projects. He was a pleasure to work with

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Hoffman and Barbara on their loss.

Ed was a good friend of mine at NACA/NASA and at the church. My prayers are with you.

I played golf with Ed for many years and worked with him during the years the NASA Golf Assn. managed the 14th hole for the PGA and LPGA tournaments at Kingsmill Golf Course. He was a special individual who did some great work at NASA concerning aircraft water landings. I will miss him but happy I was able to see him two weeks ago in his room at The Newport. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My condolences to Ed's family. I remember Ed from my NASA and sailing days. He was one of the nicest people I have ever known. Ed was just a joy to be with.

My regards to Ed's family as they have lost a loved one. I knew Ed, worked with him in the Materials Division at Nasa, and played a lot of golf with him. I have very good memories of time spent with ED. We have all lost a dear and close friend.
