Dr. Edward Roger Hommel

Edward (known to me as Roger) has been a lifelong friend and comrade in arms. Our families were linked through a complex connection of relatives and friendship. Roger and I met on occasion when he was on Air National Guard active duty for training and I was on active duty in the Army. When I retired, Roger, Mary and I reconnected and maintained a close relationship. Always a gentleman, Roger was a great friend and he and Mary were gracious in their hospitality.
